Personal fitness support
We offer all new members a one time opportunity to meet with one of our nationally certified personal trainers for an hour session at a minimal cost of $10. In addition, members can sign up for unlimited equipment orientations and receive a complimentary group training session. In addition, FitWomen is proud to offer a full set of personal training services, to help you achieve your personal fitness and health goals. Our Member Service representatives at the front desk can set up all of your appointments for you.
Guests must be 15 years or older and have a valid photo ID. Guests must be with the member to use the facility. The daily guest fee is $10.
What should I bring with me to workout?
We provide body wash in the showers and lockers to store your belongings. If you are going to shower you will need to bring a towel. You should bring a lock with you to the club and plan to bring your belongings home with you each day.
How old does my child have to be to work out at the FitWomen?
Members must be 13 or older to work out at FitWomen. Members 13 and 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
How do I cancel my membership?
Simply visit the club and speak with the manager or send a letter by certified mail to FitWomen Cancellation Dept 6 University Drive Amherst, MA 01002. The body of the letter should state your full name, address, that you wish to terminate your membership with FitWomen and your reason for termination. If you are in a commitment membership and have not fulfilled your membership contract you are required by the terms of your contract to pay 3 months of dues or the remainder of your contract, whichever is less. All cancellations require 1 month notice.
What are my options for paying my monthly dues?
For your convenience, FitWomen will electronically debit (EFT) your monthly dues from your checking account, savings account or credit card account.
How do I make changes to my account?
Visit the front desk to update your billing or contact information.
I’ve lost my membership card. How do I get it replaced?
Simply stop by the front desk and we will be happy to issue a new one. There is a $5 fee to replace your card.
