Many health insurance companies now offer rebates for their members towards health club memberships.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Your Fitness Benefit could save your family up to $150 per year in health club membership dues or exercise class fees. You can claim your $150 Fitness Benefit once you’ve belonged to a health club and been a BCBSMA member for at least four months (in a calendar year) if your company has added this benefit to your plan. You will need to check with BCBS or your employer to find out if you are eligible.
If you’re a member of Harvard Pilgrim, and belong to a qualified health and fitness club for four consecutive months, we’ll reimburse you up to $150 for you or your dependents covered under your plan.
Tufts Health Plan
Just complete at least four consecutive months of membership in Tufts Health Plan and at a qualified fitness center. Submit the Fitness Rebate Form, along with proof of fitness center membership and proof of payment, and we’ll reimburse up to $150 of your fitness club fees for the year.
